Purbeck District Council made a plan for an extra one thousand homes in Wool over the next 17 years, as part of 3,080 additional homes across Purbeck. It asked residents for their views - here is the report of the consultation.

An Overwhelming 98% Majority are against 3,080 Additional Homes in Purbeck

There were 2889 responses to the central question, and 2828 are against.

And a Huge 92% Majority against 1,000 additional homes in Wool

Of 694 responses, 639 are against.

WE GOT IT WRONG, SO WE ARE GOING DOING IT AGAIN

Councillor Wharf didn't say that exactly at the meeting of the Partial Review Advisory Group (PRAG) at Purbeck School on Wed 2 Nov, but that is what he implied.

The PRAG has decided to redo the 'Local Knowledge Scenario' and to turn the SHMA handle again. Let's hope the process is more rigorous and transparent this time. There will be local forums in 2017.
